The process of promoting a talented athlete to college coaches is a stressful one. Most Division I and I-AA coaches are only able to travel to a small number of games — Division III coaches are not allowed to travel to recruit, making a professionally-done video vitally important if the player is considering one of the schools in this division.

At Highlight Video we present you in a way that focuses the coach's attention on your skills and abilities. A 6-10 minute DVD of your best plays provides ample time for a coach to review your skills. We believe that a recruiting video should be fast-paced and hard-hitting to reinforce those attributes in the athlete. Our professionally-produced and affordable videos will clearly demonstrate your skills and abilities. We include personal and contact information that makes it easy for the recruiting coach to contact you quickly. Coaches will also want to see at least one full or two half-games unedited on the DVD - we include these, when available.

We use graphics and special effects to show what you can do, not what we can do. Coaches look at hundreds of videos. They want to see how you play during games, and you want to grab their attention as quickly as possible. We show them where you are in any given play without cluttering up the action with unnecessary graphics and text. We do occasionally use slow motion to highlight a particular play but, in general, coaches want to see plays in real time. We use effects and transitions between segments to give the highlight video a professional look and feel.

Don't risk your first, and possibly only, chance on a home-produced video. During an offensive play, the eye tends to drift to the motion of the quarterback or running back; an offensive guard is generally in the middle of the action and can be very difficult to pick out in a series of clips. We keep the coach's attention focused on YOU.
